Week 1: Get to Know NiiCHE

Hello! We are NiiCHE Entertainment, the new source of K-pop, anime and gaming in Australia!

Welcome to our first blog!

This blog will give you an insight into the business, the process and the people who started it. We want to provide more opportunities for the K-pop, anime and gaming communities in an open and innovative way.

Since we have been active members of these communities for many years, we feel we are in touch with what fans want both from a business and personal perspective.

We were founded with the goal of becoming a trusted name of distribution, events and promotion for niche industries in Australia. We know what it's like for a release, concert or event to be labelled as “global” only for Australian fans to be excluded. We are here to engage with everyone through the sale of products, and custom events to suit the interests of our community.

Although there's conventions and concerts already established in Aus, NiiCHE is focused on tailored events such as pop-up cosplay cafe’s, themed attractions and events for fans to have the opportunity to experience their favourite anime or game in a real life adaptation.

Our pre-launch website and K-pop album sales are just the first step in our journey. We are increasing the visibility of the Australian audience globally by ensuring that all our album sales are included towards the ARIA charts as well as the Hanteo and Gaon charts in Korea. This data will reach the entertainment companies in Korea and enable them to have a better, more accurate understanding of the audience here. Our hope is that this will bring Australia more local charting, radio play and recognition. We also hope to facilitate concert opportunities in the future!

We hope to work closely with the community to achieve our goals and provide opportunities across the K-pop, anime and gaming communities.
